The NSA Hasn’t “Cracked” Encryption—It’s Just Reminded Us of the Ways Around It | MIT Technology Review

This should have been titled “Everybody Calm Down.” As usual, it’s the human weaknesses that get us in trouble. There’s been no degradation of the basic encryption principles, but there has been a surge in social engineering, brute force, and other hacks.
